Cargo Tracking

Follow Your Cargo After It Sails

Once your cargo leaves a Japanese port, Kansai Group sends you the shipping references you need to track it live — directly on the shipping company’s own website.

After departure from any Japan port, we provide the Bill of Lading (B/L) number for your shipment. For container shipments, we also provide the Container number.

Every shipping company has its own online tracking portal. With the B/L number and/or Container number, you can search and see live updates on your cargo — sailing status, vessel details, and estimated arrival at the destination port.

How It Works

Track in four simple steps

No special login with Kansai Group is required. Use the numbers we send you on the carrier’s tracking page.

  1. 01

    We send your shipping references

After your cargo has left the Japan port, we share the B/L number. For container shipments, we also share the Container number.

  2. 02

    Open the shipping company’s portal

Each carrier runs its own cargo tracking website. We will confirm which shipping company is carrying your shipment so you know where to search.

  3. 03

Enter B/L No. and/or Container No.

On the carrier’s portal, search using the Bill of Lading number, the Container number, or both — whichever the site accepts for live cargo tracking.

  4. 04

    View live voyage updates

The portal shows progress at sea, vessel information, and the estimated arrival at your destination port. You can check back anytime for the latest status.

Your Reference Numbers

What we provide after departure

Keep these numbers safe — you will use them for tracking, and often for customs and pickup at destination.

B/L Number (Bill of Lading)

The main document number for your consignment. Enter it on the shipping company’s tracking portal to identify your shipment.

Container Number

Provided for container shipments. Use it on the same portal to track by container, alone or together with the B/L number.

Good to Know

Tips for smooth tracking

  • Live tracking usually becomes available shortly after the vessel sails from Japan.
  • Status updates come from the shipping company portal — not from a Kansai Group tracking site.
  • If you cannot find your shipment, double-check the B/L or Container number and the carrier name, then contact us for help.
  • Keep your B/L and Container numbers handy for customs clearance and cargo release at destination.
